Marketing & Communications Consultant

About the role

The Marketing & Communications Consultant will design and deliver integrated marketing and communications campaigns that support WorkSafe’s strategic objectives. This hybrid role is based in Geelong, with three days per week in the office.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and evaluate multi‑channel communications strategies for business initiatives, ensuring delivery on time and within budget.
• Collaborate with External Affairs and other WorkSafe units to align marketing plans with stakeholder needs and strategic priorities.
• Engage external creative and media agencies to execute campaigns across paid, owned and earned channels.
• Compile post‑campaign reports, identify optimisation opportunities and monitor expenditure.
• Support the broader Marketing team with ideas, tools and special project execution.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering integrated marketing, communications and public‑relations campaigns.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, able to convey complex information clearly.
• Highly developed planning and organisational abilities, with capacity to manage multiple concurrent projects.
• Resilient, adaptable and able to perform under pressure and tight deadlines.
• Tertiary qualification in marketing, communications or a related field.
