Market Planner

About the role

The Market Planner will ensure product availability across assigned markets while balancing inventory investment, service levels, working capital, and supply risk. This role sits at the intersection of supply chain planning, commercial operations, and customer experience, partnering with multiple stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Own the health and performance of finished‑goods inventory across assigned markets.
• Develop and execute inventory and deployment strategies that balance service, investment, and working‑capital objectives.
• Monitor supply‑chain metrics such as service levels, backorders, inventory health, turns, excess/obsolete stock, and costs.
• Lead inventory balancing, redeployment, and reduction initiatives.
• Identify supply risks, create recovery plans, and drive issue resolution through governance forums.
• Manage purchase orders and inbound supply execution with suppliers and logistics partners.
• Act as liaison across Commercial, Customer Service, Logistics, Quality, Regulatory, Finance, and Supply teams.

Required profile

• Proactive, commercially minded supply‑chain professional with experience in inventory, supply, or deployment planning.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities, able to assess inventory risks, financial exposure, and working‑capital impacts.
• Excellent communicator and relationship builder, capable of influencing stakeholders in a matrix environment.
