About the role
Proton Intelligence is seeking a Manufacturing Technician to support product manufacturing and assembly at its R&D facility in Clayton, Victoria. This full‑time, on‑site position reports to Jia Wei Ng and focuses on delivering consistent workmanship and reliable production records.
Key responsibilities
- Carry out manufacturing and assembly activities according to work instructions.
- Check functionality of parts and components, record results and raise defects.
- Optimise production efficiency through machinery adjustments and settings.
- Maintain equipment, maintenance logs and keep the work area safe and tidy.
- Maintain productivity records and incident reports in line with internal policies.
Required profile
- Relevant practical experience appropriate to a technician role; recent graduates are welcome.
- Careful workmanship, clear communication and ability to follow work instructions.
- Cooperative approach to working with colleagues from diverse backgrounds.
Required skills
- Experience with injection moulding, FDM or SLA 3D printing, or general workshop tools.
