Manufacturing Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Manufacturing Manager to lead frontline production operations for a leading FMCG manufacturer in Sydney. Reporting to site leadership, you will be responsible for driving performance, safety and continuous improvement across our production lines.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop manufacturing teams to meet operational targets.
• Drive equipment efficiency while maintaining a safe, high‑performing production environment.
• Deliver production plans that align with volume, cost and schedule requirements.
• Ensure compliance with quality, food safety and GMP standards.
• Champion a strong safety culture across the site.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally to drive continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a similar leadership role within a manufacturing environment, preferably FMCG.
• Strong people‑leadership skills with the ability to engage, influence and develop teams.
• Data‑driven mindset with the ability to interpret metrics and drive performance outcomes.
• Highly accountable with a hands‑on, lead‑from‑the‑front approach.
• Effective communicator with strong stakeholder engagement abilities.
• Passionate about safety, quality and continuous improvement.
