Manufacturing Assistant - Pooraka

About the role

Reece HVAC, Australia's leading supplier of plumbing and bathroom products, is hiring a Manufacturing Assistant in Pooraka. You will help engineers, project managers and other tradespeople get the products they need to maintain essential services, while also doing other tasks that keep customers happy and the branch running smoothly. The role is predominantly assembly and manufacturing, with little to no customer interaction.

Key responsibilities

• Assemble components to the specified standard and take responsibility for the quality of all components produced
• Identify potential areas for efficiency and quality improvement
• Operate CNC table router presses and punches, saws and hand tools, and handle stock control and admin tasks
• Assist in the warehouse where required and help keep the branch tidy and safe

Required profile

• Previous experience in manufacturing, assembly, labouring or warehousing in a fast-paced environment (training provided)
• Or willingness to learn with a good attitude
• Forklift licence preferred but not essential
• Interest in developing a career locally, within the network or at head office
