Manager – Web Strategy and Performance

About the role

CQUniversity is seeking a senior digital leader to own and deliver its web strategy. You will guide a multidisciplinary team to optimise performance, governance and user experience across the university’s enterprise web platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive web strategy aligned with organisational goals.
• Strengthen web governance, accessibility (WCAG 2.2) and compliance.
• Lead SEO, SEM, analytics, UX, and product design initiatives to improve findability and conversion.
• Collaborate with marketing, IT, digital content and external partners to deliver data‑driven improvements.
• Manage a multidisciplinary team and oversee complex digital projects.

Required profile

• Proven experience creating and delivering web strategies that meet user needs.
• Deep understanding of web governance, accessibility, SEO, SEM and digital best practices.
• Strong analytical skills with ability to turn data into actionable insights.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑engagement abilities.
