Manager Technology Procurement

About the role

The Manager Technology Procurement will lead the commercial lifecycle of key technology services suppliers supporting the Group CTO’s strategic priorities. Reporting to the Executive Manager, IT Infrastructure Procurement, you will work closely with technology, architecture, engineering, security, risk, legal and finance teams to deliver sourcing outcomes and enhance the bank’s supplier landscape.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and deliver sourcing, renewal and negotiation initiatives across the IT Infrastructure portfolio.
• Build effective relationships across Group CTO and relevant business areas to support commercial savings.
• Ensure sourcing activities align with Group Supplier Lifecycle Policy and regulatory requirements.
• Contribute to renewals, panel arrangements, transformation programs and cost‑optimisation opportunities.
• Provide commercial analysis, market insights and recommendations to support procurement decisions.

Required profile

• Experience in technology procurement, strategic sourcing or commercial management within a large or complex organisation.
• Proven track record of managing commercial negotiations and delivering value.
• Strong stakeholder management and the ability to influence across multiple levels.
• Commercial acumen with a focus on balancing cost, risk, service and business outcomes.
• Experience working within risk and regulatory frameworks.
• Analytical, problem‑solving and decision‑making capabilities.
