Manager, Technology and Cyber Audit

About the role

The Technology & Cyber Audit team at CommBank provides independent assurance over technology platforms, systems and controls. As a Manager you will lead complex technology and cyber security audits, evaluate emerging risks and deliver insights that shape better outcomes for the Group.

Key responsibilities

• Lead technology and cyber security audits from risk assessment through to execution, reporting and issue validation.
• Assess governance, risk management and control effectiveness across networks, operating systems, databases, cloud infrastructure, endpoint security, identity and access, vulnerability management, security monitoring and technology resilience.
• Engage and constructively challenge senior technology and cyber security stakeholders, translating technical matters into clear risk insights.
• Deliver concise audit findings, identify root causes and work with stakeholders to support sustainable remediation.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience in technology and cyber assurance, audit or risk management.
• Deep technical knowledge of technology platforms, cyber security and resilience technologies.
• Proven ability to assess complex environments, identify material risks and evaluate control design and effectiveness.
• Experience leading complex audits and managing engagements from planning to remediation.
• Strong stakeholder management, influencing skills and ability to communicate complex technical matters clearly.
• Relevant certifications such as CISA, CISSP, CISM, CRISC, CCSP are highly regarded.
