Manager, Site Start Up APAC

About the role

Precision for Medicine, a leading Clinical Research Organization, is seeking a Manager, Site Start Up APAC to lead and develop its Site Start‑Up (SSU) team across the Asia‑Pacific region. The role combines people leadership with deep operational expertise to ensure high‑quality, compliant site activation for clinical trials.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, mentor, and manage SSU personnel, conducting regular 1:1 meetings to track tasks and career growth.
• Ensure all SSU activities adhere to SOPs, regulatory requirements, and GCP/ICH guidelines.
• Allocate FTE resources per project, monitor budget alignment, and adjust staffing as needed.
• Oversee training plans, compliance with administrative tasks, and performance reviews.
• Participate in recruitment, onboarding, and interview processes for new SSU staff.
• Contribute to the creation and continuous improvement of SSU standards and processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in life sciences or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 6 years of clinical research experience with extensive site start‑up exposure.
• Proven line‑management or leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of GCP/ICH guidelines and the clinical development lifecycle.
