About the role

This role offers the chance to develop accounting and advisory skills while working within Deloitte's Partner Tax Services team, supporting Deloitte Partners and their families across Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of internal clients, reviewing financial accounts and tax returns for various entities.
  • Provide specialist tax advice and planning, including trusts and Division 7A matters.
  • Monitor workflow, lodgement deadlines and liaise with the ATO.
  • Mentor junior talent and support leadership on complex projects.
  • Collaborate with offshore processing teams.

Required profile

  • CAANZ or CPA qualified with at least five years of experience in business services or a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of Australian accounting and tax laws, especially trusts and Division 7A.
  • Proven experience managing a tax compliance programme.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to work autonomously.

Required skills
