Manager Marketing, Communication & Engagement

About the role

Shepparton Villages is seeking a proactive, highly organised professional to lead its communication, marketing and engagement activities. The role supports the CEO, Executive Team and designated committees while managing a range of internal and external communication channels.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic communication advice to the CEO and senior managers.
• Manage regular communication channels including web content, social media, CEO newsletters, video, and newspaper commentary.
• Liaise with Lifestyle & Leisure teams and other departments to enhance information‑sharing and cross‑team support.
• Conduct reputation management activities and other duties as directed by the CEO.

Required profile

• Relevant tertiary qualification in Communications, Media, Public Relations or similar.
• Experience in marketing or communications, including brand management, within aged care, health or not‑for‑profit sectors.
• High‑level written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills with strong influencing and problem‑solving abilities.
• Demonstrated ability to operate at both strategic and operational levels in a complex, people‑focused environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite – Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Experience producing and managing websites, online content, e‑marketing and social media.
