Manager Governance, Communication & Advocacy

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Manager of Governance, Communication & Advocacy to lead strategic planning and stakeholder engagement for our community‑focused organisation in Central Australia. This full‑time permanent position offers the chance to make a tangible impact every day while working alongside a culturally rich team.

Key responsibilities

• Provide high‑level advice and guidance to internal and external stakeholders on governance, communication and advocacy matters.
• Develop and oversee strategic and operational plans that align with organisational objectives.
• Lead, mentor and coach a multidisciplinary team, fostering professional growth and performance.
• Represent the organisation in negotiations and public forums to promote its vision and strategic direction.
• Collaborate with Indigenous communities and other partners to ensure culturally appropriate practices.

Required profile

• Proven leadership experience with the ability to supervise and develop staff.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills across diverse stakeholder groups.
• Demonstrated ability to adapt to fast‑paced, dynamic environments.
