Manager - Financial Due Diligence (Transactions & Corporate Finance)

About the role

EY-Parthenon's Financial Due Diligence team supports domestic and cross-border transactions across many sectors, working with strategy, tax and M&A teams. As a Manager, you will lead buy-side and sell-side engagements, manage client relationships, supervise and coach juniors and contribute to the growth of the Perth and national practice. The role is hybrid, based in Boorloo (Perth).

Key responsibilities

• Lead financial due diligence engagements, delivering quality of earnings, working capital, net debt and cash flow analyses.
• Manage client relationships and present key findings, risks and opportunities throughout the transaction lifecycle.
• Lead engagement teams and multiple concurrent workstreams with high-quality delivery.
• Work with Strategy, Tax, M&A, Valuations and Modelling to give integrated transaction advice to private equity and corporate clients.
• Coach junior team members and contribute to business development and practice growth.

Required profile

• At least 3 years' experience in Financial Due Diligence / Transaction Services, including at least 12 months at Manager level in a Big Four, mid-tier advisory or consulting firm.
• Demonstrated experience leading due diligence, managing clients and delivering insights for investment decisions.
• CA, CPA or equivalent qualification, supported by a degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, Economics or a related discipline.

Required skills

• Quality of earnings, net debt, working capital and cash flow analysis.
• Commercial acumen, communication and stakeholder management, with proven team leadership and mentoring.
