Manager – Corporate Tax, Private Clients

About the role

EY is seeking a Manager for its Private Tax team to work with high‑net‑worth individuals, family enterprises and privately owned businesses. The role offers direct exposure to decision‑makers and the chance to influence strategic growth, succession and wealth preservation.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of privately owned corporate groups, trusts, partnerships and high‑net‑worth families.
• Oversee tax compliance, financial statements and planning for diverse entity types.
• Provide advisory services on restructures, domestic transactions, capital gains tax, Division 7A and trust‑specific issues.
• Collaborate with Partners and senior tax specialists to deliver tailored advice.

Required profile

• Experience in tax consulting within a top‑tier or second‑tier accounting or legal firm.
• Proven ability to manage junior staff and develop talent.
• Strong client‑facing skills with confidence to lead meetings and build networks.

Required skills

• Advanced technical knowledge of corporate tax, trust tax and individual tax matters.
• Familiarity with Division 7A, capital gains tax and complex restructuring.
