Manager - Comprehensive Assurance

About the role

Marsh is looking for a Manager to join its Risk and Compliance team, based in Sydney (Barangaroo) with a hybrid work model. The role supports the comprehensive assurance programme, assessing policies, controls and compliance obligations across the business.

Key responsibilities

• Develop an understanding of the business model, strategy, risk appetite and external environment.
• Deliver Line 2 comprehensive assurance activities, including monitoring, oversight and reporting to senior stakeholders.
• Maintain tools and procedures for assurance activities and identify process inefficiencies.
• Support the Pacific Risk and Compliance function’s priorities, frameworks and ad‑hoc tasks.

Required profile

• Experience in risk, compliance or audit within financial or professional services.
• Knowledge of regulated financial services and ability to interpret legislative requirements.
• Strong written and verbal communication, with experience preparing reports for senior stakeholders.

Required skills

• Working knowledge of risk and compliance frameworks.
