Makeup Artist - Chanel Fragrance and Beauty Boutique

About the role

Chanel is recruiting a Makeup Artist for its new Fragrance and Beauty Boutique in Burnside Shopping Centre. The role combines a commercial mindset with a passion for the client and the product, helping to create memorable client experiences and contribute to the brand's image. The position is 62 hours per fortnight.

Key responsibilities

• Create personalized client experiences using the Chanel experience ritual, going beyond client expectations
• Share beauty and makeup tips to educate and inspire clients
• Proactively recruit and retain clients to build a diverse client base
• Manage stock at the point of sale, keeping data accurate and compliant with company policy
• Stay curious and proactive in self-learning to support your own career and the business's learning culture

Required profile

• Qualification in Makeup as a Makeup Specialist/Artist, with some experience working one-on-one with clients
• Customer service experience, preferably in a fast-paced environment
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, able to build emotional connections with clients
• Positive attitude, teamwork and eagerness to learn

Required skills

• Excellent knowledge of current makeup trends and the ability to share it with clients and the team
• Ability to manage stock accurately at the point of sale
