Major Transport Projects Leader – WA

About the role

Arup is seeking a senior leader to drive the delivery of major transport infrastructure projects across Western Australia. Based in Perth, you will oversee multidisciplinary teams from conception through design and construction, focusing on alliance and design‑and‑construct delivery models.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the bidding, design and delivery of large‑scale transport projects, coordinating disciplines and resources.
• Own commercial outcomes including work winning, contract negotiation, scope, programme, budget, risk and profitability.
• Manage design coordination, technical quality, client satisfaction and people development throughout the project lifecycle.
• Build and maintain trusted relationships with government clients, delivery partners and stakeholders.

Required profile

• Recognised tertiary qualification in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Chartered membership of Engineers Australia or willingness to obtain it.
• Significant consulting experience delivering major transport infrastructure across multiple project stages.
• Proven leadership of multidisciplinary teams and experience with alliance and D&C procurement models.
