Maintenance Supervisor - Mobile Plant

About the role

Repurpose It is a recognised leader in the circular economy, recovering resources from construction and demolition, excavation, infrastructure projects and local council organics. It is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Supervisor to lead its mobile plant maintenance team at the Epping site. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the role combines people leadership with hands-on technical support so that preventative maintenance is delivered effectively and plant reliability and uptime are maximised. This is a full-time, site-based role with a fully maintained company vehicle.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop the maintenance team
• Support the maintenance of mobile and fixed plant
• Carry out repairs, servicing and troubleshooting
• Plan and deliver preventative maintenance schedules
• Manage work orders, priorities and maintenance reporting
• Coordinate contractors and spare parts requirements
• Drive equipment reliability through root cause analysis
• Promote a safety-first culture and lead toolbox talks
• Ensure compliance with WHS, environmental and quality standards

Required profile

• Diesel Mechanic, Mobile Plant Fitter or equivalent qualification
• Previous supervisory or leadership experience
• Strong mobile plant maintenance experience
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
• Current Australian Driver's Licence
