Maintenance Service Person

About the role

Join the Mobile Maintenance Team at KCGM to perform basic maintenance, servicing and refuelling of Heavy Mobile Equipment (HME) in a safe, timely and professional manner. The role is based locally in Kalgoorlie, offering a family‑friendly 14/14 roster just 10 minutes from home.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out basic maintenance, servicing and refuelling on HME, following the service plan and safety standards.
• Complete service checks, inspections, fuel and oil records, and maintain statutory equipment records.
• Identify defects, raise work requests, complete and close work orders, and record labour hours in the Work Management System.
• Communicate daily instructions with the Supervisor, Leading Hand and Mine Control, and support the team when not refuelling.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of relevant mining experience, including at least 2 years operating a service truck in a mobile maintenance environment.
• Current unencumbered WA "C" and "HR" class driver’s licences and a national police clearance.
• Strong attention to detail, ability to organise personal workload and a safety‑focused attitude.

Required skills

• Experience with Ultra Class Mining Equipment.
• Competent use of preventative maintenance processes.
• Proficiency with integrated management systems such as Pronto, and basic computer skills (word processing, spreadsheets).
