Maintenance Manager

About the role

Join Kraft Heinz as a Maintenance Manager in Wagga Wagga, NSW, and lead a dynamic maintenance team in a fast‑moving FMCG environment. This permanent role offers the chance to grow your engineering and maintenance career while driving safety, quality and operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the maintenance team and apply management system methodologies to improve safety, quality and efficiency.
• Plan, organise and schedule preventative and planned maintenance, ensuring projects are completed on time.
• Ensure all activities meet Kraft Heinz Food Safety, EHS, GMP and sustainability requirements.
• Maintain accurate payroll and employee records, supporting HR administration.
• Manage engineering budget, monitor spend, report financial status and control CAPEX.
• Drive continuous improvement, problem‑solving culture and deliver operational KPIs.
• Collaborate with production and site leadership to embed maintenance‑production collaboration.
• Support capital projects and vertical start‑ups, assisting project engineers with justification and reporting.

Required profile

• Engineering degree or equivalent (required).
• Proven supervisory experience in manufacturing/FMCG.
• Strong leadership, change‑management and people‑management skills.
• Commitment to safety and food quality while meeting production targets.
• Experience managing CAPEX and maintenance budgets with P&L understanding.
• Eligibility to work in Australia with full working rights.
