About the role
Join the Engineering Team at Nestlé Purina’s Blayney Factory as a Maintenance Fitter. You will be responsible for maintaining key manufacturing equipment, supporting breakdowns, and contributing to continuous improvement of plant reliability.
Key responsibilities
- Execute planned maintenance schedules and shift rotations.
- Identify root causes of equipment issues using fault‑finding techniques.
- Perform line set‑up, equipment shutdowns, and routine maintenance.
- Participate in equipment improvement and continuous improvement activities.
Required profile
- Trade‑certified with a strong safety mindset.
- Willing and able to work in confined spaces and at heights.
- Knowledge of HACCP and GMP standards.
- Self‑motivated, organised, and able to work with minimal supervision.
Required skills
- Trade certification
- Confined space training
- Working at heights training
- HACCP knowledge
- GMP knowledge
- Experience with Prometheus or similar CMMS
- Familiarity with TPM (Total Productive Maintenance)
