Maintenance Fitter – Dairy Production Site

About the role

We are seeking a Maintenance Fitter to join our Crestmead dairy manufacturing site. In this hands‑on position you will work closely with site teams to improve equipment reliability and support safe, efficient operations across the plant that produces around 100 million litres of milk‑based products each year.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventative, predictive and corrective maintenance on processing and packaging equipment to keep assets safe and reliable.
• Respond promptly to breakdowns, minimizing production disruption and supporting shift teams.
• Identify and implement continuous‑improvement opportunities to enhance performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to share knowledge, build capability and ensure work meets safety and quality standards.

Required profile

• Certificate III in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent trade qualification (essential).
• Experience in FMCG or manufacturing environments, preferably with processing or packaging machinery.
• Strong problem‑solving ability with a practical approach to root‑cause analysis.
• Team‑oriented mindset with clear communication skills.
