About the role
JBS Australia is looking for a 2nd Year Apprentice Maintenance Fitter for its Scone Plant in New South Wales, about 2 hours north west of Newcastle. The position is full-time, Monday to Friday (40 hours per week), and offers the chance to contribute to the business's growth while developing your own career.
Key responsibilities
- Follow safe work practices and procedures
- Work with and under the supervision of tradespeople
- Attend TAFE as required
- Follow all instructions from tradespeople and supervisors
Required profile
- Demonstrated interest in the trade
- Good communication skills
- Organisation and time management skills
- Ability to work in a team and independently
- Positive attitude and problem-solving ability
