About the role
Pilbara Remote Services, a provider of remote recovery, transport and trade services based in Newman and operating across the Pilbara, is looking for a Maintenance Allrounder for its Trades & Services team. The role covers general repairs, outdoor structures, internal fit-outs, renovations and custom-building solutions. It is a casual position working 12 hours a day, Monday to Friday for a Newman local, or on a 2/1 or 12/9 roster for FIFO from Perth.
Key responsibilities
- Carpentry work, ceiling fixing and interior and exterior building repairs
- Renovations, small maintenance requests and light landscaping
- Yard maintenance and kitchen installations
- Installation and repair of doors, fittings and fixtures
- Painting and cosmetic work, flooring and skirting, gyprock repairs
- Wall and floor tiling
Required profile
- Construction White Card
- Unrestricted Australian driver's licence
- National police check
- Able to pass a pre-employment medical, including an alcohol and other drugs screen
Required skills
- Experience with power tools
- Load restraint experience
- Strong commitment to working safely
