Maintainer / Operator – Cogeneration Plant

About the role

A cogeneration plant is looking for a hands-on Maintainer / Operator to support the safe and efficient operation of boilers and associated equipment. The role suits people with experience in boiler operations, industrial maintenance or manufacturing who enjoy a varied, hands-on job. It is based in Robinvale.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and monitor boilers and associated plant equipment
• Carry out routine inspections and preventative maintenance
• Troubleshoot equipment faults and help with breakdowns
• Monitor operating pressures, temperatures and plant performance
• Complete operational records and shift handovers
• Maintain high standards of safety and plant reliability

Required profile

• Experience in boiler operations, plant operations or industrial maintenance
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Background in manufacturing, power generation or process environments is advantageous
• Commitment to safety and teamwork
• Willingness to work a rotating day and night shift roster

What we offer

• Salary of $90,000 - $100,000 plus superannuation
• 7 days on / 7 days off, alternating between days and nights, with 12-hour shifts from 5am to 5pm
