Maintenance Fitter – Food Manufacturing (7/7 Roster)

About the role

A well-established food manufacturing facility in Robinvale is looking for a reliable and experienced Maintenance Fitter. The role runs on a 7 days on / 7 days off roster, giving a good work-life balance in a modern production environment. Accommodation is provided during the 7-day shift block; after the shift you return to where you live.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventative and breakdown maintenance on food processing and packaging equipment
• Diagnose mechanical faults and carry out effective repairs
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to improve plant reliability and efficiency
• Work closely with production teams to minimise downtime
• Complete all work in line with food safety and OH&S standards

Required profile

• Trade qualified Fitter, Fitter & Turner or Mechanical Fitter
• Ability to work independently and as part of a maintenance team
• Commitment to safety, quality and reliability

Required skills

• Strong troubleshooting and fault-finding skills
• Maintenance of food processing and packaging machinery
