Machine Operator – Automated Material Handling

About the role

Join WITRON’s newly established, climate‑controlled automated facility as a Machine Operator. You will be responsible for keeping high‑tech material handling equipment running smoothly, addressing both technical and operational faults to support continuous production.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor, operate and troubleshoot automated material handling machines in a fast‑paced environment.
• Identify and resolve faults using logical problem‑solving, including work at heights up to 30 m.
• Record and interpret fault data accurately, applying literacy, numeracy and IT skills.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping, hygiene and safety throughout the shift.
• Collaborate with the maintenance team, reporting anomalies and ensuring optimal machine condition.

Required profile

• Strong commitment to safety and meticulous attention to detail.
• Genuine interest in automation and willingness to learn new procedures.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
• Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including days, evenings, weekends and public holidays.
• Ability to identify basic colors and meet physical fitness requirements (walking, climbing, lifting up to 25 kg, working at heights).

Required skills

• Basic IT proficiency for data entry and fault logging.
