Night Shift Maintenance Technician – Mechanical Trades

About the role

WITRON is launching its first Australian distribution centre in Redbank, Queensland and is seeking passionate Maintenance Technicians for the night‑shift team. The role is permanent, full‑time and operates on a four‑day week from 8 pm to 6 am. You will join a newly‑established mechanical team in a climate‑controlled environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and planned repairs on a variety of mechanical equipment.
• Diagnose and rectify faults in components such as motors, gears, pulleys and chain conveyors.
• Assist with the installation of new or refurbished mechanical parts.
• Complete accurate maintenance records and work orders.

Required profile

• Trade qualification in a mechanical discipline (mechanic, diesel, maintenance fitter, etc.).
• Strong commitment to workplace safety and ability to work at heights up to 30 m with fall‑arrest gear.
• Good communication skills and the capacity to work independently or within a team.
• Physical ability to walk, climb, squat, kneel, stand for long periods and lift/push/pull up to 25 kg unassisted.
