Logistics Specialist – Trade Compliance & Operations

About the role

We are looking for a Logistics Specialist to support our supply chain operations across domestic and international markets. The role focuses on trade compliance, logistics coordination, and transportation activities, ensuring smooth import/export processes and operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Manage import and export compliance in line with customs regulations and trade agreements.
• Maintain accurate tariff and HS code classifications to minimise duty costs.
• Monitor regulatory changes and support customs audits and reporting.
• Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics with warehouses, carriers, and third‑party providers.
• Track shipments, handle product rejections, and resolve supply‑chain issues.
• Support logistics technology implementation and process improvements.
• Monitor performance using KPIs and service‑provider scorecards.
• Validate transportation invoices, process payments, and maintain accurate records.
• Investigate delivery discrepancies in collaboration with customer‑service teams.

Required profile

• Tertiary qualification in Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience in logistics, supply chain, transportation or trade compliance.
• Knowledge of customs regulations, import/export processes and international trade compliance.
• Experience managing supplier or third‑party logistics relationships.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and attention‑to‑detail abilities.
• Proficiency with ERP systems and Transportation Management Systems; SAP experience is a plus.
• Excellent communication and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
• Self‑motivated, proactive and able to handle multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
