Logistics Operator – Ocean Import & Export

About the role

Join Expeditors' dynamic logistics team to ensure the timely and accurate movement of ocean import and export freight. You will coordinate with customers, agents, carriers and internal departments while delivering exceptional customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate ocean shipments with customers, international agents, carriers and service providers, managing documentation and milestones.
• Track and trace shipments, proactively follow up on delays, and update customers on status.
• Process and reconcile service provider invoices to maintain uninterrupted shipment flow.
• Maintain accurate shipment records in internal systems and utilise workflow monitors to manage daily priorities.

Required profile

• Experience in ocean import and/or export operations within freight forwarding.
• Strong time‑management, organisational and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Full and unrestricted working rights in Australia.
