Logistics and Warehouse Coordinator

About the role

ABB is hiring a Logistics and Warehouse Coordinator in Singleton, NSW, reporting to the Supply Chain Manager. The role coordinates warehouse and logistics operations so that goods move safely, efficiently and on time, managing inventory, inbound and outbound shipments and warehouse activities. It contributes to the Process Automation business and is an onsite position.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, picking, packing and dispatching materials and products.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts, stock reconciliations and effective inventory control.
• Arrange and monitor inbound and outbound freight, ensuring deliveries are safe, efficient and on schedule.
• Maintain warehouse documentation, transport records and system transactions in line with company procedures and compliance requirements.
• Collaborate with suppliers, freight providers and internal stakeholders to resolve delivery, inventory and logistics issues.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with workplace health and safety standards.

Required profile

• Experience in warehouse, logistics, inventory management or supply chain environments.
• Demonstrated experience in a Warehouse Coordinator, Logistics Coordinator, Storesperson or similar role, ideally in manufacturing, industrial, engineering or distribution.
• Current forklift licence highly regarded; a Certificate III in Warehousing Operations, Logistics or Supply Chain Operations, or equivalent experience, is desirable.
• Fluent written and spoken English.

Required skills

• Sound knowledge of inventory management systems, warehouse management systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Strong organisational skills, problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and stakeholder management.
• Experience with SAP or other ERP systems is advantageous.
