Linux Systems Administrator

About the role

Leidos Australia is seeking a Linux Systems Administrator to join its AGO GEO SPACES program. You will maintain and enhance Linux infrastructure that supports critical national security capabilities in a highly secure, mission‑critical environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide Level 2 and Level 3 support for enterprise Linux environments, ensuring availability, performance and reliability.
• Administer virtualised and physical infrastructure including VMware, KVM, HP OneView and GreenLake platforms.
• Develop, automate and standardise system configurations using Ansible, Puppet or Chef.
• Support security and access management through authentication services, security controls and scripting automation.

Required profile

• Australian citizen with an active TSPV security clearance capable of obtaining DISA/OSA.
• Experience administering RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu or SUSE at enterprise scale.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues at Level 2/3.
