About the role
The Lighting Engineer will join the Perth building services team of a leading multidisciplinary engineering consultancy, contributing to lighting design from concept through to detailed documentation.
Key responsibilities
- Develop lighting designs, layouts and specifications.
- Undertake lighting calculations and modelling.
- Prepare technical reports and design documentation.
- Coordinate with architects and other engineering disciplines.
- Contribute to client discussions and project meetings.
- Design in accordance with relevant Australian Standards and project requirements.
Required profile
- Experience in lighting design within a building services consultancy or similar environment.
- Relevant qualification in engineering, lighting design or a related discipline.
- Knowledge of Australian Standards and energy efficiency requirements.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach.
Required skills
- Proficiency with lighting calculation and modelling software such as AGi32.
- Proficiency with lighting calculation and modelling software such as DIALux.
