Level 1 Business Software Support Consultant

About the role

Join Opal Logic as a Level 1 Business Software Support Consultant, providing first‑line assistance to users of ERP systems and custom‑built business applications. This full‑time, work‑from‑home position is open to candidates residing in the Perth metropolitan area and may require occasional visits to client sites.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the initial point of contact for software support enquiries via phone, email and remote‑support tools.
• Gather and analyse information to reproduce and investigate straightforward application issues.
• Guide users through standard features, workflows and data‑entry processes in Jiwa Financials and related systems.
• Document findings and resolutions in the support ticketing system.
• Escalate complex problems to senior consultants or developers as needed.

Required profile

• Previous experience in customer support, help‑desk or service‑desk environments.
• Strong communication skills and confidence speaking with clients.
• Ability to learn unfamiliar business applications quickly.
• Residency in the Perth metropolitan area with willingness to travel to client sites when required.

Required skills

• Familiarity with ERP software concepts.
• Experience supporting custom business applications.
• Use of remote‑support and ticketing tools.
• Basic knowledge of Jiwa Financials (training provided).
