Legal Content Specialist – Energy & Environment Regulatory Compliance

About the role

We are seeking a Legal Content Specialist to lead the development and maintenance of regulatory content for the energy, environment, utilities and resources sectors across Australia. Working remotely, you will translate complex legislation into clear guidance and help organisations manage their compliance obligations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and update regulatory content across the Energy, Environment, Utilities and Resources portfolio.
• Interpret legislation, regulatory frameworks and legal developments into practical guidance.
• Monitor legislative reforms, compliance trends and emerging industry issues.
• Engage with customers, regulators, industry bodies and subject‑matter experts to identify content needs.
• Lead content and product projects from concept through delivery.
• Support product, sales and marketing teams with regulatory expertise.
• Contribute to content strategy, innovation initiatives and new product opportunities.

Required profile

• Professional background in environmental law, energy & resources law, planning law or related regulatory fields.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to simplify complex regulatory information.
• Experience engaging with industry stakeholders and regulators.
• Excellent written communication skills.
