Legal Content Specialist - Employment Relations

About the role

Peninsula, an HR, employment relations and health and safety advisory group, is looking for a Legal Content Specialist focused on employment relations to join its growing Content team in Australia. The role is responsible for the creation, accuracy and quality of employment law content, making sure it is legally sound, commercially relevant and easy to understand for clients. It is a permanent, full-time position based in Sydney.

Key responsibilities

• Identify emerging legal trends and develop proactive content plans to address them.
• Create a wide range of content formats, including articles, guides, templates, FAQs, webinars and E-Learning scripts.
• Ensure all content is accurate, commercially sound and written in a clear, concise and accessible style.
• Maintain a deep understanding of Australian employment law, including the Fair Work Act, modern awards and state-specific legislation.
• Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to ensure the accuracy and compliance of all employment relations content.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years' experience in employment relations and/or human resources.
• Tertiary qualification in Law (LLB or equivalent) highly regarded.
• Proven ability to turn complex legal information into clear, accessible language for a non-legal audience.
• Positive attitude and willingness to adapt to change.

• Excellent communication skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
• Strong research and analytical capability.
