Lecturer / Senior Lecturer (Education Focused) Phase Coordinator – Albury

About the role

The University is seeking an Education‑Focused Lecturer or Senior Lecturer to coordinate a phase of the undergraduate medicine program at its Rural Clinical Campus in Albury. This part‑time, fixed‑term position supports student learning, clinical placements and curriculum delivery while strengthening partnerships with local health organisations.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality medical education and supervise clinical teaching activities.
• Coordinate the designated phase of the undergraduate medicine program, including student assessment and examinations.
• Develop and implement rurally focused learning activities and support local research projects.
• Foster collaborations with Local Health Districts, Primary Health Networks and faculty colleagues.
• Utilise educational technologies and online delivery methods to enhance teaching.
• Provide leadership in curriculum development and innovation (Senior Lecturer level).

Required profile

• Medical degree (BMedMD, MBBS or equivalent) and Fellowship of a Specialist Medical College (e.g., ACEM, ACRRM, RACP, RACGP, RANZCOG, RACS).
• Current medical registration in New South Wales.
• Demonstrated teaching experience in clinical medicine and a commitment to rural medical education.
• Evidence of professional development in pedagogy and accreditation requirements.
• Experience supervising and coordinating clinical education programmes, including assessment and use of educational technologies.
• For Senior Lecturer level: proven leadership, module convenorship, committee involvement and a record of academic achievement.

What we offer

• Academic Level B or C remuneration ($127 K – $178 K pro rata) plus 17% superannuation and clinical loading.
• Part‑time workload of 10.5 hours per week.
• Fixed‑term contract until 30 June 2027.
• On‑site position at the Albury Rural Clinical Campus.
