Learning & Development Specialist – AI Capability (3‑Month Contract)

About the role

We are seeking a Learning & Development Specialist to lead the design, coordination and delivery of learning for a three‑month AI implementation program. Reporting to the Senior Manager – Learning and Talent, you will work closely with L&D, Change, Technology, HR Business Partners and operational leaders to ensure our people can confidently adopt AI in their daily work.

Key responsibilities

• Design end‑to‑end learning journeys for AI capability programs.
• Conduct training needs analysis and translate business requirements into engaging learning solutions.
• Create digital learning assets, facilitator guides, quick reference tools and supporting resources.
• Curate and quality‑assure learning content with subject‑matter experts.
• Manage the full learning program, including scheduling, coordination and stakeholder engagement.
• Support AI Champions and business leaders with practical learning resources.
• Measure program success through participation data and learner feedback.
• Drive continuous improvement by refining learning experiences based on insights.

Required profile

• Proven experience in Learning & Development, instructional design or capability development.
• Strong knowledge of adult learning principles and contemporary learning design.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship‑building skills.
• Ability to simplify complex information into practical, engaging learning experiences.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Proactive mindset and genuine curiosity about AI and emerging technologies.

Required skills

• Articulate or similar authoring tool for creating digital learning content.
