Senior Lead, Workforce Planning & Management

About the role

The Workforce Planning Leader will design and execute workforce planning strategies for the Transformation Delivery Hub, overseeing an enterprise‑scale workforce of around 700 resources. This senior position provides end‑to‑end leadership to ensure the right capability, capacity and mix are in place to meet current and future delivery demands.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement workforce planning frameworks that align with transformation initiatives.
• Lead the workforce planning function, managing a team responsible for forecasting, insights and solution design.
• Bridge strategic workforce planning with operational delivery needs, delivering analytics that optimise productivity and manage risk.
• Monitor and analyse business performance metrics, providing visibility of current state and progress against strategic priorities.
• Facilitate regular performance review processes with Finance, Product and Frontline stakeholders.
• Identify and implement process improvements and reporting enhancements.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with senior leadership and key internal stakeholders.
• Promote a risk‑aware culture and continuous learning environment.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in workforce planning or resource management.
• Proven track record of leading teams or workforce planning functions in complex, large‑scale organisations (500+ resources).
• Strategic thinker with strong commercial acumen and outcome‑focused mindset.
• Background in consulting, transformation or portfolio management is a plus.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive continuous improvement.
