Learning & Development Lead

Key responsibilities

• Develop and drive the Learning & Development strategy to build capability across the organisation.
• Partner with leaders to identify skills gaps and translate business needs into effective learning solutions.
• Lead the design, development and continuous improvement of learning programmes across classroom, digital and blended environments.
• Manage and develop a team of Learning & Development specialists, providing coaching, guidance and leadership.
• Oversee early‑careers and apprenticeship programmes, ensuring strong outcomes, compliance and talent pipeline development.
• Measure learning effectiveness, report on outcomes and drive continuous improvement through data and feedback.

Required profile

• 10‑15 years experience in the Learning & Development sector.
• Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Education, Organisational Psychology or a related discipline.
• Proven experience leading learning strategy and capability initiatives.
• Strong knowledge of adult learning principles, instructional design and training needs analysis.
• Demonstrated ability to design, implement and evaluate learning programmes and measure business impact.
• Experience with Learning Management Systems, digital learning platforms and external training providers.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement, coaching and leadership skills with the ability to influence a diverse organisation.
