Leading Hand – Cold Stores (Expression of Interest)

About the role

The Leading Hand – Cold Stores provides day‑to‑day leadership and support to the Cold Stores team, reporting to the Cold Stores Supervisor. This position ensures operational targets, quality standards and safety requirements are consistently met.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and support team members to achieve daily production and operational objectives.
• Promote and maintain a strong safety culture.
• Coordinate workflow to maximise efficiency and productivity.
• Ensure compliance with quality, food safety and company procedures.
• Provide coaching, guidance and on‑the‑job training to team members.
• Assist with inventory management, product movements and dispatch activities.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives within the department.
