About the role

Assembly Label is seeking expressions of interest from experienced leaders to join its Fitzroy boutique. This full-time role drives operational excellence, builds a positive team culture and delivers an elevated guest experience. The leader will head a team of retail stylists.

Key responsibilities

• Drive sales to meet weekly, monthly and annual sales and margin targets.
• Deliver a high level of customer service to build brand loyalty and repeat business.
• Uphold retail operational standards and procedures while leading by example.
• Work with the National Retail Manager, State Manager and Assistant Business Manager on data integrity and loss prevention.
• Provide consistent training and development for staff and nurture relationships with other departments and stakeholders.
• Maintain high personal and store presentation standards.
• Engage seasonally with the Operations and Design teams on the product range.

Required profile

• Ability to meet sales targets and proven experience leading and motivating a team.
• Strong communication and time management skills, and strong reporting skills.
• Enthusiastic and welcoming to feedback.
• Clear understanding of the Assembly Label values and product range.
• Understanding of local and international fashion markets.
• Availability to work public holidays, weekends and key retail seasons.
