Lead Mobile Developer – React Native

About the role

Protecht is seeking a Lead Mobile Developer to own and evolve its React Native mobile app, a core component of its Enterprise Risk Management platform. You will guide a small agile team, collaborate with product, design and engineering, and help shape mobile architecture as the company scales globally.

Key responsibilities

• Lead an agile team of three developers to build, test and ship scalable iOS and Android apps using React Native.
• Write clean, secure, well‑documented code and set quality standards for the team.
• Plan releases and sprints, partner with designers and product managers, and troubleshoot performance issues.
• Mentor developers, conduct code reviews and support the Mobile QA team to improve automation coverage.
• Contribute to architecture decisions, integrate with APIs and native modules, and guide mobile delivery processes.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional mobile development experience with React Native.
• Strong JavaScript/TypeScript skills and solid understanding of React fundamentals.
• Passion for mentoring, excellent problem‑solving abilities and clear communication.
• Relevant tertiary qualification such as Computer Science or Information Systems.

Required skills

• React Native, Expo, EAS services.
• State management (Redux, TanStack, Context API).
• Offline‑first databases (Realm or similar).
• iOS/Android native development basics and testing frameworks (Jest, Detox).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, mobile security hardening, App Store/Google Play publishing.
