Lead Designer / Architect – Custom Residential

About the role

Play a leading role in bespoke residential design, working closely with clients and a collaborative in‑house team. This newly created position offers genuine scope to shape the design function and deliver one‑off, architecturally considered custom homes.

Key responsibilities

• Lead client consultations, translate briefs into bespoke residential designs and develop concepts considering site, orientation, buildability and budget.
• Produce 3D designs, documentation and construction‑ready drawings while collaborating with the interior design team to ensure cohesive outcomes.
• Work across the full design journey—from initial site assessment through concept development, design refinement and final documentation.

Required profile

• 5+ years of architectural or building design experience, preferably in custom residential projects.
• Strong technical knowledge of residential construction, site constraints and ability to balance design ambition with client budgets.
• Collaborative, client‑focused mindset with a willingness to share ideas and listen to others.

Required skills

• Proficiency in ArchiCAD (or willingness to learn).
• Experience with Enscape for 3D visualisation.
