About the role

Persol is partnering with established law firms in Queensland to recruit qualified lawyers across a range of practice areas. Candidates will join teams that handle commercial transactions, wills and estates, litigation, family matters, employment issues, and personal injury claims.

Key responsibilities

• Provide expert legal advice to clients in the assigned practice area.
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, pleadings, and other legal documents.
• Represent clients in negotiations, mediations, and court proceedings.
• Conduct thorough legal research and stay updated on relevant legislation.
• Manage case files, maintain accurate records, and meet statutory deadlines.

Required profile

• Current unrestricted practising certificate in Queensland.
• Admission to the legal profession in Australia.
• Demonstrated experience in at least one of the listed practice areas.
• Strong analytical and communication abilities.
