Lawyer - Corporate Law, Reward and Employee Share Plans

About the role

EY is hiring a lawyer for its Reward team, working as a legal adviser on employee equity plan and remuneration-related legal and governance projects. The team advises major ASX-listed groups as well as early-stage businesses and established private companies on employee and executive reward. The position is hybrid, based in either Melbourne or Sydney, and may be adjusted to work flexibly with reduced hours.

Key responsibilities

• Help clients design and implement equity-based incentive plans, draft plan documents and provide legal and regulatory advice
• Support head office legal and governance advice, including AGMs, executive appointments and terminations, and Corporations Act and Listing Rule compliance
• Support junior team members develop their legal expertise

Required profile

• Experience gained in a consulting, law firm or other professional services organisation
• Strong legal advisory and drafting skills, ideally with some experience in corporate law, governance and employee equity plans
