About the role

Respect is looking for a part-time Laundry Services Assistant to join the team at Tyler Village in Prospect Vale, a suburb of Launceston. The role supports the delivery of high-quality laundry services and helps keep the environment clean, comfortable and welcoming for residents. Key responsibilities

• Assist with washing, drying, folding and distributing residents' clothing and linen
• Help maintain laundry equipment
• Follow infection control procedures
• Ensure laundry services are delivered efficiently and to a high standard

Required profile

• Genuine interest in working in aged care
• Previous experience in laundry services, housekeeping, aged care or a similar environment highly regarded
• Current National Police Certificate
• Flexibility to work across different shifts

• Understanding of laundry procedures, hygiene and infection control practices
• Ability to safely operate laundry equipment and handle residents' clothing and linen
• Good communication and customer service skills
