Labourers and Machine Operators

About the role

AWX is recruiting labourers and machine operators for ongoing roles across Brisbane's western and southern suburbs, including Wacol, Rocklea and surrounding areas. Work is offered in manufacturing, production, warehousing and outdoor labouring environments, with day shifts and consistent weekly hours.

Key responsibilities

• Operate machinery and production equipment safely and efficiently
• Pack, stack and prepare products for dispatch
• Perform repetitive manual handling and physical labouring tasks
• Assist with yard maintenance, stock movement and general housekeeping
• Follow production schedules and workplace procedures
• Work within a team to meet daily targets and keep the workplace clean and safe

Required profile

• Previous experience in manufacturing, production, warehousing or labouring roles
• Ability to carry out physically demanding work throughout the shift
• Strong reliability and commitment to attendance
• Ability to follow instructions and work safely
• Reliable transport to Wacol, Rocklea or surrounding work locations
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn

Required skills

• Machine operating experience
• Production line or packing experience
• Forklift licence (LF)
• Experience in manufacturing, building products or warehouse environments
