Branch Supervisor - Non-Ferrous Operations (Wacol)

About the role

InfraBuild Recycling, a 2026 AFR BOSS Best Places to Work Gold Winner and World Steel Association Sustainability Champion, is recruiting a Branch Supervisor for its non-ferrous department in Wacol. Reporting to the Branch Manager, the supervisor leads day-to-day activities to meet production targets, maintain high service standards and resolve operational issues quickly, covering safety, quality, equipment and customer service. The role is a permanent full-time position.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and guide the non-ferrous operations team to achieve production targets
• Implement and improve operational processes to boost efficiency and productivity
• Apply rigorous quality control measures and work with the quality assurance team to raise product quality
• Optimise supply chain processes to reduce costs and increase efficiency
• Generate regular reports on production metrics and analyse data to inform decisions
• Support site scheduling, coordinate daily priorities and communicate expectations on customer service, inventory management, quality and plant maintenance

Required profile

• Proven experience in a hands-on leadership role in a similar industry
• Knowledge of non-ferrous materials, production processes and quality control (desired)
• Ability to work with and manage a multi-disciplinary workforce
• Familiarity with safety regulations and a commitment to a safe working environment
