Labourer – Transmission Lines

About the role
We are looking for dedicated Labourers to join the Transmission Lines team on the Central‑West Orana Renewable Energy Zone (REZ) project. The role involves supporting the construction, stringing and installation of high‑voltage transmission lines and related infrastructure in the Mudgee region.
Key responsibilities
- Assist with erection and installation of transmission line structures and components.
- Support conductor stringing, sagging and tensioning activities.
- Carry and handle materials such as poles, fittings and hardware.
- Assist rigging crews, dogmen and crane operators during lifting operations.
- Perform general civil and transmission line construction labouring duties.
- Maintain strict adherence to site safety and environmental procedures.
- Work at heights and in remote conditions as required.
Required profile
- Previous experience in civil construction or transmission line work (preferred).
- Physically fit and able to work in remote, height‑related environments.
Required skills
- Construction White Card.
- Working at Heights ticket (preferred).
- Rigging or Dogman ticket (desirable).
